This movie was perhaps the most vile, repulsive and profoundly racist movie I have ever seen. I walked out of the cinema wishing I didn’t see it. The whole experience was unnerving and it’s disturbing to think that the majority of people who watch this film will be white and won’t understand why it’s so racist.

Lol your loss. It was fantastic.

In a movie about a former slave???

Living in the pre-civil war American south????

Trying to get his slave wife out of the ownership of a vile plantation owner????
